Shadece McFadden
Director of Athlete Impact
Shadece McFadden is the Director of Athlete Impact at Sagamore Institute, where she develops strategies that connect athletes with platforms to create meaningful community change. With 13 years of banking leadership, she specializes in Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) credits, donor-advised funds, and social finance, transforming capital into meaningful investments that drive equity and strengthen families, schools, and communities.
At TD Bank, Shadece became the first Black woman in her role and earned multiple honors, including the Vision in Action Award in Toronto, Canada, and consecutive Financial Literacy Instructor of the Year awards. She led CRA initiatives, expanded financial literacy programs in urban schools, and served on Women in Leadership and Minorities in Leadership committees, advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she worked with the CDC Foundation, coordinating outreach that delivered resources and support to thousands of families nationwide. Her career path has taken her from banking to public health to community leadership, giving her a unique ability to bridge finance, advocacy, and social impact.
She also founded the “Do It For You Sis” brand, a women’s empowerment platform that provides mentorship, funding support, and motivational workshops. Passionate about the next generation, she has reached and inspired over 15,000 young people across the U.S. and Canada through financial literacy, mental health, and leadership programs. Recognized as a dynamic speaker and advocate, Shadece continues to champion financial security, mental health awareness, and generational impact, all while drawing daily inspiration from her two daughters.
