Sagamore was a think tank born in the states and our chief policy reform focus is centered on reform-oriented governors.
Sagamore fellows have worked alongside innovative governors such as Indiana’s own Mitch Daniels and Wisconsin’s Tommy Thompson. This has placed us on the cutting edge of policy change such as welfare reform, fiscal integrity, and education reform. As recounted in Sagamore Press’ The New Wisconsin Idea, these partnerships have led to reform measures that not only changed the governors’ states but also influenced national policy and provided a blueprint for reform around the world.
